In 1999 minimum wage was £3.60 per hour and a Freddo Bar was 5p. This means you could buy 72 Freddo’s with one hours wage. Now minimum wage is £7.50 per hour, yet Freddo’s are 25p, meaning you can only buy 30 Freddo’s with one hours wage. For the continuum of Freddo purchasing we need £18 per hour MINIMUM!
